How are we different?

1. No clamps or other tools. This means your piercing is much more comfortable, as clamps pinch and bruise. It also means that nothing is used from person to person, which risks infection transmission. We use all brand-new equipment for each piercing, which means greater safety for you.
2. All implant-grade jewelry. All jewelry used for initial piercings is tested and certified for human implant. This means our jewelry meets the same strict standards as something like a dental implant or hip replacement. We also do not use nickel-bearing jewelry like stainless/surgical steel products, to reduce the risk of allergic and other adverse reactions.
3. Fully sterile procedure. Everything used during the piercing (gloves, gauze, sharp, and jewelry) is sterile, just like it would be for a simple surgical procedure, and is handled to ensure it stays that way. If even one element of the procedure isn't sterile (like gloves, for instance) then nothing is, because as soon as something sterile comes in contact with something non-sterile, it's not sterile anymore.
4. Simple, gentle aftercare. Due to the precautions taken during the piercing and the high quality of jewelry used, your aftercare is very simple. No harsh chemicals are necessary, in fact, they do more harm than good.
